CULTURE
Culture is humanity's historically accumulated spiritual experience, which is used as a tool for continuous transformations—of both humans and the environment—and provides perspectives for social and spiritual development for individuals and humanity in the most favorable and least critical directions. This is how culture is defined by cultural studies scholars, who determine its mission. However, this mission is far from being realized in society, although culture permeates all areas and states of social life without exception. Thoughts about culture as a process or tool for improvement, progress, and perfection can be found in the works of many remarkable people from both the past and the present.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
The cultural heritage of the peoples of all countries is included in the common heritage of humanity. The awareness that cultural heritage is something common to everyone, that it is the spiritual value of a citizen of the world, is important for young people to more easily understand their own nation, their cultural heritage and the international space, the cultural heritage of nations and the world around them. This is the only way they will become citizens of the world, understand the social system and know how to put events in the world into context, develop in the direction of becoming a better person.

APRIL 15ih – INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CULTURE
On April 15th, we celebrate the International Day of Culture, which is based on the peace ideas of the Roerich Pact (1935). The holiday is intended to raise the awareness of the masses, especially the younger generations, that the "Cultural heritage of all nations is the common heritage of humanity" and that the implementation of Culture as a spiritual value leads to the establishment of peace - Peace through Culture!
Nicolas Roerich (1874-1947), a citizen of the world, Russian painter, philosopher, scientist, writer and poet, humanist, Mahatma, all-round genius, literary giant, Messiah of Culture, and messenger of cosmic evolution, developed a completely new concept of Culture, which is permeated with the ideas of Living Ethics and has practical evolutionary significance. For Roerich, Culture is a spiritual value, without which neither man, the planet, nor the cosmos can exist. The task of Culture is the rise of the Spirit, it is a life-creating force that leads man to perfection.
"We will hear about the World Day of Culture when all schools and educational organizations have one day dedicated to raising awareness of national and world cultural treasures." N.K. Roerich.
